Deluxe Wedding Package - Complete Terms and Conditions:
A $345 non refundable deposit is required to book the facility. The remaining amount is due 30 days before event and not to go past 10 days prior. All wedding payments, after a deposit is made, must be paid by cash, check, or money order. There will be a 6% interest charge for credit card transactions. There will be an 18% interest charge per day for any balance remaining past 10 days. If ANY balance is remaining on the date of the event, the event WILL NOT be allowed to proceed. Any funds paid in addition to the deposit, will not be refunded if less than 120 days before the event. If booked 30 days or less from event, all money is due at booking and is non refundable. If a wedding date needs to be rescheduled, there will be a rescheduling fee of $250 if it is within the same year. If the wedding needs to be rescheduled for the following year, it is an additional $500. In addition to and separate from the wedding package, an additional security/damage deposit is required. A separate check of $250 will be held as deposit to ensure the facility is left clean and free of debris or damage and that the allotted time was upheld. If the amount of damage and/or extra time is not covered by the security deposit, the signor of this contract agrees to pay for any amount over the security deposit. After a final inspection of the property has been done and there has been no damage, debris, or over run of time; the check will be mailed back to issuer within 30 days after the event date. It is the responsibility of the signor to make sure Starlight Canyon has the correct address for the check to be mailed to if different than the address on the check. Once a package has been booked, bride/groom may upgrade or add to their package, but may not downsize the package. Options included within the Deluxe Package are described below. The Deluxe Package is a 3 hour rental. Time begins one hour before ceremony and ends promptly two hours after the start of the ceremony. This time includes any additional set up needed, photography, music, or any other reason needed for being on the property. If any member of the wedding party needs access to the property other than the specified time, it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to purchase additional time. Additional hours may be purchased for $145 per extra hour and must be arranged in advance. Time is strictly enforced. If Starlight Canyon is not cleared within 15 minutes of ending time, an additional hour will be charged. All events are to end no later than 12:00 midnight. Smoking is not allowed on the main lawn, the event hall, outside bathroom, main house or any of the guest houses. There are designated areas for smoking. If food is brought into Starlight Canyon, other than the wedding cake and punch, there will be an additional charge of $150. No exceptions! If ANY alcohol is brought on Starlight Canyon property, there will be an additional charge per every 3 hours. A TACB licensed person is required for hard liquor and/or mixed drinks and is the responsibility of the bride/groom to provide. Wine and Beer is $225 per every 3 hours. Bar/Mixed Drinks/Hard Liquor is $325 per every 3 hours. All equipment, food, floral arrangements, props and anything else not belonging to Starlight Canyon must be cleared at the end of the rental. Starlight Canyon may impose a storage fee for any items that are not removed at the end of the event. Wedding Ceremony and Reception: The bride and her attendants may have access to bridal room one hour before the start of the wedding. Groomsmen need to arrive already dressed. All personal items MUST BE REMOVED from bridal room BEFORE the wedding begins. The doors will be locked after the wedding begins. Unless rental arrangements have been made, the wedding rental does not include any of the guest houses belonging to Starlight Canyon and all wedding party and wedding guests are not to be loitering in that area. Anyone not renting a room, will not be allowed in the bed and breakfast area of the property. Starlight Canyon will open its gate one hour before start time of wedding and will close 30 minutes after end of event. Music will be played 30 minutes before start of event by Starlight Canyon, unless other arrangements have been made. The outdoor sound system will be available for the wedding ceremony, but it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to provide a CD for the ceremony, and must provide someone to run the system. The Deluxe Wedding Package will be set up for 100 people. Set up includes guest registry table, iron arch for entrance, aisle decorations, and iron columns in gazebo. Flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows are available for use, but it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to provide petals and/or rings. Petals MUST BE FRESH. No silk petals are allowed. If additional chairs are needed, they will be charged at $2 per chair and must be decided in advance. If a table is needed for unity sand/candle, it will be an additional $25. Bride/Groom are responsible for sand/candles, containers, and setting up the table. The reception hall will include 5 round tables with chairs to accommodate 100 people. The tables will have linen floor length cloths and centerpieces. There will be a gift table, bridal table, and grooms table. If any additional tables are needed, they will be charged at $8 per rectangular table and $10 per round. Linens are an additional $15 - $20 per table. Starlight Canyon will provide water bottles for 100 guests. All cakes, drink, plates, napkins, forks, cups, and serving pieces are the sole responsibility of the bride/groom. All serving of reception food and/or drink is the sole responsibility of the bride/groom to assign servers. Attendants may be hired at $20 per hour if needed with a minimum of two hours. The indoor stereo system will be available for use, but it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to provide the music and someone to run it. A Starlight Canyon Representative will notify bride/groom when the last 30 minutes of the event have begun. Baskets of bubbles will be available for the couples departure. A rehearsal may be scheduled prior to the ceremony. A wedding rehearsal may be arranged no earlier than 3 weeks before the wedding and will be scheduled around booked events. The rehearsal will be for one hour or less. It will begin promptly and the property must be cleared at the end of one hour. If bride/groom wants to rehearse to music, it is their responsibility to provide the music and someone to run it. Starlight Canyon does not host rehearsal dinners. In the event of inclement weather; time can be suspended for up to one hour without penalty. The bride/groom does have the option to move the ceremony to the event hall for an additional $500.
