Ultimate Wedding Package - Complete Terms and Conditions:

An $835 non refundable deposit is required to book the facility. The remaining balance is due 30 days before event and not to go past 10 days prior. There will be an 18% interest charge per day for any unpaid balance 10 days prior. All wedding money, after a deposit is made, must be paid by cash, check, or money order. There will be a 6% interest charge for any credit card transactions.

If ANY balance is remaining on the date of the event, the event WILL NOT be allowed to proceed. Any funds paid in addition to the deposit, will not be refunded if less than a 120 days before the event. If booked 30 days or less from event date, all money is due at booking and is non refundable.

If a wedding date needs to be rescheduled, there will be a reschedule fee of $250 as long as it is within the same year. If the wedding needs to be scheduled for the following year, it is an additional $500.

In addition to and separate from the wedding package, an additional security deposit check is required. A separate check of $250 will be held as deposit to ensure the facility is left clean and free of debris or damage and that the allotted time has been upheld. If the amount of damage and/or extra time exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the signor of this contract is responsible for remaining balance. After a final inspection of the property has been done and there has been no damage, debris, or over run of time; the check will be mailed back to issuer within 30 days after the event date. It is the responsibility of the signor to give Starlight Canyon the correct address for mailing if different than address on the check.

Once a package has been booked, bride/groom may upgrade or add to their package, but may not downsize the package. Options included within the Ultimate Package are described below.

The Ultimate Package is a 5 hour rental. Time begins one hour before ceremony and ends promptly four hours after the start of the ceremony. This time includes any additional set up needed, photography, music, or any other reason the property would be accessed. If additional time is needed, it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to purchase additional time. Additional hours may be purchased for $145 per extra hour and must be arranged in advance. There will be no refund of unused time. Time is strictly enforced. If Starlight Canyon is not cleared within 15 minutes of ending time, an additional hour will be charged.

All events are to end no later than 12:00 midnight.

Smoking is not allowed on the main lawn, the event hall, outside bathroom, main house or any of the guest houses. There are designated areas for smoking.

If ANY alcohol is brought on Starlight Canyon property, there will be an additional charge per every 3 hours. A TACB licensed person is required for hard liquor and/or mixed drinks and is the responsibility of the bride/groom to provide. Wine and Beer is $225 per every 3 hours. Bar/Mixed Drinks/Hard Liquor is $325 per every 3 hours.

Bride/Groom is responsible for all ice, buckets, cups, openers and anything else needed for alcohol service.

All equipment, food, floral arrangements, props and anything else not belonging to Starlight Canyon must be cleared at the end of the rental. Starlight Canyon may impose a storage fee for any items that are not removed at the end of the event.


Wedding Ceremony and Reception:

The bride and her attendants may have access to bridal room two hours before the start of the wedding. The groom and his attendants may arrive 1 hour before ceremony and will be given a designated room to change.

Unless rental arrangements have been made, the wedding rental does not include any of the guest houses belonging to Starlight Canyon and all wedding party and wedding guests are not to be loitering in that area. Anyone not renting a room, will not be allowed in the bed and breakfast area of the property.

Starlight Canyon will open its gate one hour before start time of wedding and will close 30 minutes after end of event.

The Ultimate Package will be set up for 120 people. Set up includes guest registry with cloth, iron arch for entrance, aisle decorations, iron columns in gazebo, and outdoor chairs with covers. Covers come in white, black, or ivory. If additional chairs are needed, they will be charged at $2 per chair or $8 per chair with cover.

If a table is needed for unity sand/candle, it will be an additional $25. Bride/Groom are responsible for sand/candles, containers, and setting up the table.

Starlight Canyon has ring bearer pillows and flower girl baskets available for use, but it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to provide flower petals. *Due to SLC being an outdoor facility, all flower petals MUST be real and not silk.

The reception hall will include 10 round tables with chairs and will accommodate 100 people. The tables will have linen floor length cloths and centerpieces. There will be a gift table, bridal table, and grooms table. If any additional tables are needed, they will be charged at $8 per 6’ rectangular table or $10 per round. Linens are an additional $15 - $20 per table.

Starlight Canyon will provide bridal cake on silver cake stand, grooms cake, serving set for both cakes, mints, and nuts.

Starlight Canyon will provide punch in silver punch bowl with ladle, and coffee in party urn to serve 100 guests. Starlight Canyon will also provide bottled water for 120 guest. Additional beverages may be purchased for $40 per 25 guests.

Champagne will also be provided for up to 120 people (including Wedding Party). Additional champagne may be purchased at $40 per 10 guests needing to be served.

All serving of reception food and/or drink is the sole responsibility of the bride/groom to assign servers. Attendants may be hired at $20 per hour if needed with a minimum of two hours.

A Starlight Canyon Representative will notify bride/groom when the last 30 minutes of the event have begun. They will bring bubbles or sparklers to be used for the newlyweds departure.
(Sparklers will not be used if a burn ban is in effect with Timbercreek Canyon.)

In the event of inclement weather, time can be suspended for up to one hour without penalty. The bride/groom does have the option to move the ceremony to the event hall for an additional $500.

Invitations & Napkins

The Ultimate Package comes with 120 Carlson Craft Invitations, Response Cards, and Printed Napkins. Bride/groom may choose any invitation from the Carlson Craft books provided by Starlight Canyon. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to make an appointment with a Starlight Canyon Representative to view invitations and place their order. Starlight Canyon will notify bride/groom at time of arrival and it is their responsibility to pick them up.

The Ultimate Package comes with engraved champagne flutes for the bride and groom that will be ordered at the same time of the invitations.

Additional invitations, napkins, or other items may be purchased with Carlson Craft at 20% off the retail price. Additional cost will be added to final balance of wedding package.

Photography & Music

The Ultimate Package comes with either a professional photographer or professional disc jockey. Both begin one hour before ceremony time and finish three hours later. Each may be purchased for additional time at $175 per hour. If the disc jockey is chosen, it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to make an appointment with the disc jockey to go over arrangements. Starlight Canyon's photographer can be added to disc jockey for an additional $800. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to make arrangements for their own photographer if not purchased with the package. If the photographer is chosen, she will contact bride/groom 3 months before wedding. Starlight Canyons disc jockey can be added to photographer for an additional $600.If the disc jockey is not purchased with the package, it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to arrange their music selections.

Wedding Cake & Groom's Cake

The Premium Package comes with a bridal cake and grooms cake. The bridal cake will serve 125 people and the groom's cake 50. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to make an appointment with the bakery for a tasting and to choose their design. Any additional cake layers, fondant, or intricate work will be an additional charge and will be added to the final balance.

The Ultimate Package comes with a cake topper that can be chosen from the catalogue supplied by Starlight Canyon.

Flowers

The Ultimate package comes with fresh flowers for the wedding party bouquets and boutonnières, centerpieces, or floral sprays. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to meet with the florist to decide on flower design and arrangement. Any floral arrangements exceeding the package budget will be the sole responsibility of the bride/groom.

Food Buffet The Ultimate Package comes with a full food buffet to serve 120 people. Any additional guest after the initial 120, will be charged $12 per person. A final count will be due the Monday before the ceremony. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to call with a final count.

Honeymoon Lodging

The Ultimate Package comes with a one night stay on your wedding night in the Aspen. After the reception, the Aspen will be transformed into a romantic getaway with rose petals on the bed, candles inside the room and on the outdoor patio, chilled champagne for two, and chocolate dipped strawberries. The overnight stay may not be exchanged for an alternate date and has no cash value if not used.

Rehearsal

The Ultimate Package comes with a one hour rehearsal that can be held the day before the wedding. Time cannot be scheduled until three weeks before the event, due to possible other bookings. A Starlight Canyon representative will conduct the rehearsal, unless other arrangements have been made. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to make sure Starlight Canyon Representative has names and positions of all wedding party before rehearsal begins. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to make sure their entire wedding party is on time and on the lawn at specified time. The rehearsal will be one hour or less. Entire wedding party must vacate Starlight Canyon at the end of rehearsal.

Starlight Canyon does not host rehearsal dinners.
