Late afternoon, the canyon wall behind the lawn turns copper and the elms throw shadows forty feet long. 



Starlight Canyon is a wedding and event venue in upper Palo Duro Canyon, eleven miles south of Amarillo, Texas. Couples marry outdoors on the lawn beneath century-old elms and spend the night in one of four cabins on the property. Liz and Nate Green the owners plan every wedding personally, from the first walkthrough to breakfast delivered to the honeymoon cabin the following morning.

    Ceremonies take place outdoors on the main lawn, beneath century-old elm trees with the canyon wall behind. 

  • Can the wedding party stay on site?

    Yes. Starlight Canyon has four cabins on the property, each with a private hot tub. The couple stays in the honeymoon cabin and receives breakfast the next morning.

  • What is included in a wedding package?

    Packages include full planning support from the owners, use of the ceremony lawn and reception space, and on-site lodging for the couple.
